I applaud Ofcom for its efforts to collect evidence about whether its net neutrality regime is helping consumers and promoting innovation. I provide evidence to show why the current UK rules do not fulfill the policy goals and in fact harm consumers and innovation. I support Ofcom’s goals to modernize the policy and encourage it not make continued compliance burdensome and onerous.
